Prudhoe Bay in the Arctic and stops in Coldfoot, Fairbanks & Denali

On this tour you can expext a unique adventure: a trip into the Arctic! You’ll visit Prudhoe Bay, a remote town located on the Arctic Ocean, have a stopover in Coldfoot and cross the Arctic Circle on your journey over the famous Dalton Highway. And the attractions in the southern part of Alaska are included as well. You’ll get fascinating insights into the flora and fauna of Denali National Park and explore the former gold rush city Fairbanks as you’ll spend two nights at both destinations.

Day 1 Anchorage
Arrive in Anchorage, check into your hotel and prepare for a unique adventure.

Day 2 Anchorage / Prudhoe Bay
This morning, fly to Prudhoe Bay. Tour this remote town located on the Arctic Ocean, home to pump station No. 1 of the TransAlaska Pipeline.

Day 3 Prudhoe Bay / Coldfoot
Motorcoach over the famed Haul Road to Coldfoot and be on the lookout for native wildlife during the trip. Check into your hotel in Coldfoot and choose an optional excursion this evening.

Day 4 Coldfoot / Fairbanks
Continue your motorcoach journey south across the Arctic Circle to Fairbanks where you’ll spend the following two nights.

Day 5 Fairbanks
Sightseeing today includes a nostalgic Riverboat Cruise on an authentic sternwheeler and a Gold Mine Tour with a hearty miner’s lunch included. The evening is free to spend as you please.

Day 6 Fairbanks / Denali
Travel by scenic Princess Rail to Denali National Park for a two-night stay. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 7 Denali
This morning, travel into Denali National Park on a Natural History Tour and get to know the Alaskan flora and fauna. In the afternoon, take part in an optional excursion or just relax at the lodge. Or maybe you’ll enjoy a delicious meal at the King Salmon Restaurant.

Day 8 Denali / Whittier
Transfer to the station and board the Denali Express to your awaiting ship in Whittier.
