Two nights Denali, Mount McKinley and Fairbanks

During a two-night stay in Fairbanks, you’ll have a lot of time to get to know the city and its history. A nostalgic Riverboat Cruise and a Gold Mine Tour are included. Then you’ll travel into the Alaskan wilderness where you’ll spend two nights in our Denali and Mount McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodges and have the opportunity to explore the fascinating wildlife on a “Natural History Tour” and optional excursions. On the last day of your land program, the Mount McKinley Express will take you to Whittier, your port of embarkation.

Day 1 Fairbanks
Arrive in Fairbanks and check into your hotel for a two-night stay.

Day 2 Fairbanks
Sightseeing today includes a Riverboat Cruise on an authentic sternwheeler and a Gold Mine Tour with a hearty miner’s lunch included. The evening is free to spend as you please.

Day 3 Fairbanks / Denali
Travel by motorcoach to Denali National Park for a two night stay in our Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. The evening is free to get to know the lodge and its surroundings.

Day 4 Denali
In the morning, enjoy a “Natural History Tour” into Denali National Park and get fascinating insights into the Alaskan wildlife. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to take part in one of our optional excursions or to settle in at the lodge.

Day 5 Denali / Mount McKinley
This morning, relax at the lodge or join an optional excursion. Then travel by Princess Rail to Talkeetna and onto the Mount McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge by motorcoach. The evening is at leisure.

Day 6 Mount McKinley
The entire day is yours to explore the surroundings. Choose from a wide range of optional excursions such as hiking, rafting or helicopter flights – our staff at the Tour Desk will be glad to assist you. Or just relax at the lodge and enjoy the magnificent view of North America’s largest mountain.

Day 7 Mount McKinley / Whittier
Transfer back to Talkeetna and take the Mount McKinley Express to Whittier and your awaiting ship.

Day 7 – 14
Cruise “Voyage of the glaciers”

This cruisetour can be booked in the reverse order as well, i.e. the land program takes place after the cruise.
