Discover the Outback and Great Barrier Reef

Two of Australia’s most important wilderness wonders await you on this fantastic adventure. After two days in Sydney during which you’ll enjoy a guided tour including all the city’s most famous sights, you set out for Mt. Olga and Ayers Rock in Uluru National Park – watching sunset here is one of Australia’s greatest experiences. The next day, you’ll be immersed in native Aboriginal culture in the historic town of Alice Springs, where you’ll also be treated to a tour of Desert Park, featuring over 120 species of native animals. Finally, you’ll depart for two nights in Cairns, where you’ll take a high-speed caramaran for a full-day visit on the Great Barrier Reef.

Day 1 Sydney
Arrive in Sydney and check in to your hotel. Meet your travelling companions this evening at a reception hosted by your Tour Director. Overnight Four Seasons Sydney.

Day 2 Sydney
Incredible Sydney is a city you’ll not soon forget, and on a morning tour you’ll see all the best attractions – including Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair, with sensational views of the Opera House and city skyline. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore this vibrant city on your own. Overnight Four Seasons Sydney. (Breakfast included)

Day 3 Sydney/Ayers Rock
After breakfast, you’ll fly to the Outback and iconic Ayers Rock. After an afternoon tour of Mt. Olga in Uluru National Park, you’ll be treated to the sight of Ayers Rock at sunset, followed by a brilliant display of the stars and constellations of the Southern Hemisphere, including the Southern Cross. Day 4 Ayers Rock/Alice Springs
Today you’ll be introduced to the culture and 40,000-year history of Australia’s Aboriginal people on an enlightening morning Liru tour. Then a scenic drive takes you across the Outback, viewing Mt. Conner, roadhouses and stopping at a camel farm en route to Alice Springs. Overnight Crowne Plaza Hotel. (Breakfast included)

Day 5 Alice Springs/Cairns
Start your day with a morning tour of the historic town of Alice Springs, followed by a visit to the amazing “Desert Park”, where you’ll discover over 120 species of indigenous animals and 350 species of plants. Later, you’ll fly to Cairns for a relaxing evening at leisure. Overnight Sebel Cairns Hotel. (Breakfast included)

Day 6 Cairns
Another highlight of your tour – a high-speed catamaran whisks you across the ocean for your unforgettable full-day tour in the Outer Great Barrier Reef. You can snorkel, or take an optional helicopter tour or scuba dive with a dive master (additional cost). A buffet lunch is included. Later you’ll return to Cairns to enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight Sebel Cairns Hotel. (Breakfast and lunch included)

Day 7 Cairns/Sydney/Embark Ship
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Sydney – where you’ll proceed to the pier to board the ship for your memorable Princess voyage. (Breakfast included)
