Ancient Cities and the Holy Land

Immerse yourself into the colorful past of the Middle East. Travel through Jordan and visit the ancient cities of Petra and Jerash, the sights of Amman and Mount Nebo on the Dead Sea which is already known from the Bible. The land program will be followed by a “Holy Land” cruise which offers further insights into the Greco-Roman history and the origins of Christianity.

Day 1 Amman
Arrive in Amman and check into your hotel. Meet your Tour Director and fellow travelling companions this evening. (dinner included)

Day 2 Amman
Today, visit the ancient city of Jerash and the most important sights of Amman. Overnight in Amman. (breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 3 Amman / Petra
Continue your motorcoach journey to Petra. In this UNESCO World Heritage Site, many buildings from the Antique have been preserved. Visit them on extensive tours. Overnight at the Petra Movenpick Resort. (breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 4 Petra / Dead Sea
This morning, travel by motorcoach to the Dead Sea. In the afternoon, visit Mount Nebo where, according to the Bible, Moses was given a view of the Promised Land without being allowed to enter it. Overnight at the Dead Sea Movenpick. (breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 5 Dead Sea / Athens / Embarkation
Motorcoach back to Amman for a flight to Athens and transfer to Piraeus to embark on your cruise. (breakfast included)

Day 6 -17 Cruise
The land program will be followed by the “Holy Land 1″ or “Holy Land 2″ cruise to Rome and Venice respectively.
