My client cannot decide at once and I still have to look for flights. Is it possible to reserve the cabin for free at first?

Of course you can make an option for free.
The length of the option period varies. Generally, an option is valid for about 3 days.
An option always has to be confirmed in written form by fax or email. Without a confirmation, the option expires free of charge.
