Caribbean

In search of gold and gemstones, the conquerors of the New World neglected the Caribbean Sea. The many small islands were a perfect shelter for pirates cruising the sea on behalf of the European kings and a lucrative target for the opposing treasure fleets. But it is still unclear into whose hands the untold riches have fallen. Today, the many old pirate shelters are a fascinating tourist destination.

Tip:

On many cruises to the Western Caribbean we call at “Princess Cays”, a private beach on the island of Eleuthera. This island is only about 180 km long and less than 1 km wide. Movie stars such as Robert deNiro or Princess Diana were frequent visitors.

A very special experience for your cruise clients!
