Test 2: Food & Beverages

A Princess offers traditional meal times, Anytime Dining, speciality restaurants and a buffet restaurant on the same ship.

B Princess offers 4 different meal times in 4 different dining rooms.

A Your clients can dine anytime between 05.30 p.m. and 10.00 p.m.

B Anytime Dining in the buffet restaurant. While there are fixed meal times in the other restaurants guests can dine anytime in the buffet restaurant.

C Princess guests do not have to rush. While planning their shore excursions, they don’t have to bear the meal times in mind. Even when they come back a bit later they can dine comfortably in the restaurant.

D First come – first served. Reservations are not available.

A Speciality restaurants are reserved for guests of suites.

B The dishes offered are excellent, so, of course, you have to pay for them. See the current menu for the prices.

C Due to the high demand and the excellent selection of dishes a small fee of about 15 to 25 USD per person will be charged.

D Many Princess ships even feature two speciality restaurants. Here, variety is guaranteed. Your clients have the choice between Sabatini’s and Sterling Steakhouse and on some ships also between Bayou Café and Crown Grill.

A Princess offers exclusive restaurants but there are no open-air facilities.

B Open-air dining is not only available in the buffet restaurant. Some of the speciality restaurants offer tables on deck, too.

C Dining in the stateroom – the 24-hour room service only offers little snacks.

D A private balcony dinner in an exotic destination is the highlight of each cruise. Enjoy a champagne breakfast or a lobster dinner.

E How about a little snack? Princess guests can enjoy a pizza or a burger while feeling the wind in their hair.

A Fine dishes in a casual atmosphere. In the buffet restaurant, Princess guests can enjoy the same dishes as in the other restaurants.

B During the afternoon tea between 3.30 p.m. and 04.30 p.m., cake and ice cream are included.

C After the last dance you have to go to bed. The Horizon Court is closed between 02.00 a.m. and 06.00 a.m.

D The buffet restaurant is open 24 hours a day. Between 11.00 p.m. and 04.00 a.m. we offer a night meal.

E The Horizon Court is the main restaurant. Only the dishes in this restaurant are included in the cruise fare. In all other restaurant you have to pay for them.

A Gratuities are not charged automatically. Waiters, maids and other employees expect daily gratuities for their service. Guests must have enough change with them.

B For all services included, an amount of 11.50 USD per person is charged automatically to the onboard account. The guests don’t have to worry about anything.

C Of course the recommended gratuity amount can be adjusted at the Purser.

D There are no gratuities. The staff never knows whether its service is appreciated by the guests.

A Evening gown and jewels are a must-have – we are on board a luxury liner.

B Casual or formal – Princess guests have the choice. There is no dress code, we only make recommendations.

C Everything is very casual. Even shorts and t-shirts are permitted for dinner.

D There are two formal evenings. For this occasion, guests may dress up, but they don’t have to. However, casual wear such as shorts is not appropriate on these evenings.

A Smoking isnot permitted in your own stateroom.

B Smoking is not permitted throughout the ship.

C Passengers may smoke when and where they please.

D To avoid disturbing the other passengers, smoking is permitted only in designated areas.
