Test 3: Destinations and Cruisetours

A The Denali National Park is a highlight of each visit to Alaska. Princess offers many different cruisetours to the Alaskan wilderness.

B Princess has its own lodges in the the national park and the Princess panorama train allows for a comfortable and undisturbed journey.

C Alaska is a very interesting country. The glaciers along the route are particularly impressive. Unfortunatly, Princess guests can explore Alaska only from the water.

D Alaska is very popular with Princess clients. Since Princess offers only one route, there are, however, only a few cruises available.

E Each season, about 7 ships are cruising along the Alaskan coast. From the north to the south or a roundtrip from Seattle – everyone will find his perfect cruise.

A In Asia, Princess Cruises has only one port of embarkation.

B Ocean crossing between Alaska and Asia or between Asia and Australia are a special experience. They take place each March, May, September and December.

C Princess offers cruises in Asia all year round.

D Asia is very popular. But there are no Princess cruisetours available.

E Princess cruisetours are particularty suitable for passengers interested in history. The itinerary includes visits to the Great Wall of China, various temples and palaces and the Terracotta Army.

A Princess offers cruises to Down Under between August and December.

B A combination of cruise and land program allows you to explore the continent with particular intensity.

C Exploring Australia and New Zealand during one single cruise – Princess makes it possible.

D Princess cruises to Australia / New Zealand take place each year between September and March.

E Princess offers many cruises to Australia and New Zealand. But if you want to explore both countries, you have to book two seperate cruises.

A In several ports, the ship will be moored overnight. This allows your guests to explore the islands in detail.

B Of course, your guests can also book extension packages. Stays in a hotel resort on Moorea are particularly popular.

C The island world of Hawaii belongs to the cultural area of Polynesia. Unfortunatly, there are no cruises from Hawaii to Tahiti.

D It’s a long way to the other end of the world. You have to book your flights on your own.

A Princess offers Panama Canal cruises only when ships change their cruise area and have to be transferred from the east coast of the United States to the west coast or vice versa.

B Therefore, Panama Canal cruises are offered only twice a year – in autumn and spring.

C Princess offers several Panama Canal cruises. Full transits are available as well as half transits up to Gatun Lake where the ships turn back.

D Princess offers Panama Canal Cruises almost all year round. The season goes from September to April.

E The lock technology and the shipping traffic are particularly fascinating. Other than many other cruise lines, Princess offers full transits by day.

A A trip to the Antarctic Peninsula is the highlight of a South America cruise. Princess cruises along the antarctic coast for four days.

B Princess offers cruises to South America every two years.

C Of course, your clients can also travel along the Amazon to Manaus.

D Cruises along the coast of South America are offered by several Princess ships. Only the interesting courses of the Amazon and the fjords and channels of the south coast are not among the destinations.

E Princess offers several cruises along the coasts of this continent between November and April.

A A cruise combined with a land program. Everything will be organized for the clients: cruise, hotel accomodation, transfers and sightseeing.

B On some cruisetours, even the meals are included.

C Hotel accomodation and transfers are included, but sightseeing tickets are not.

D The guests will have no time for shopping or for explorations on their own.

E Princess completely fits in with the guest’s wishes. They can book the land program before or after their cruise.
